For those that haven’t guessed from the title, this is a book blog, about reading, and general bookish things!

I am a junior doctor based in the UK and I love reading. For now at least I will be keeping my specialty and my identity quiet but maybe this will change, I will see how things go.

I read a lot when I was younger and got back into it a couple of years ago as a way to distract myself from some upsetting times, it helped. I try to read a mix of things and am hoping this blog will be a good way to share my thoughts on what I am reading. I feel like most people in the online book community are far more artsy than me, my life has always been about science, so maybe I will be able to bring a different perspective.

This website is a work in progress, no doubt the look of it will gradually change over the next few months as I have time to play about with it.

I am always looking for new things to read and will give most genres a go so if anyone has any great book recommendations, or blog recommendations for that matter, I would love to hear them.
